These Terms of Service govern your use of Vorigon.com and every order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By browsing the site, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

1. Who We Are

Vorigon is an online retailer of garden machinery and workshop storage, trading from 23 Wharfside, Rosemont Road, Wembley, HA0, United Kingdom. You can reach us at info@vorigon.com or +44 20 3996 1739. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Vorigon, and “you” means the person using the site or placing an order.

2. Using This Website

You may browse, shop and use the site for your own personal, lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the site for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose
  • Copy, scrape, harvest, republish or resell our content, product data, descriptions or images
  • Introduce malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with the site’s operation
  • Place speculative, false or automated orders
  • Use our name, branding or images to imply an association that does not exist

If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly through our Report a Security Issue page rather than disclosing or exploiting it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. Garden machinery includes powered cutting equipment that is not suitable for minors, and we may decline or cancel any order where we reasonably believe this requirement is not met.

4. Products and Descriptions

We describe our products as accurately as we can, including specifications, dimensions, cutting widths, power ratings, run times and what is included in the box. Photographs are illustrative; colours can vary between screens and accessories shown may be sold separately. Manufacturers occasionally update specifications without notice.

All products are genuine and sourced through authorised channels, as set out in our Authorized Retailer & Authenticity page. Product availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed and dispatched.

Our catalogue covers Walk-Behind Lawn Mowers, Ride-On Lawn Mowers, Robotic Lawn Mowers, Pressure Washers, Multi-Tool Garden Machines, Mini Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers, Grass Trimmers & Garden Cutters and Tool Storage Cabinets.

5. Orders and Contract Formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not create a contract. The contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation email for the items in that consignment.

We may decline an order if the product is unavailable, if there was a pricing or description error, if payment cannot be verified, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we reasonably believe the order breaches these terms. If we decline, we refund you in full within 14 days.

6. Prices and Payment

Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at 20%. Standard UK delivery is free. Payment is taken in full when you place your order. Accepted payment methods, invoicing and refund handling are set out in our Billing Policy, and the contractual payment terms in our Billing Terms & Conditions.

7. Delivery

Our order cut-off is 2:00 PM (GMT/BST) Monday to Friday. Processing takes 1 to 2 business days and transit takes 2 to 4 business days, giving a total delivery time of 3 to 6 business days. This single service applies to every order and every UK address, free of charge. All orders are delivered within 30 calendar days of the order date unless a later date is agreed with you. Full details are in our Shipping Policy and, for pallet deliveries, our Freight Shipping Policy.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership passes once we have received payment in full and the goods have been delivered.

8. Cancellation, Returns and Refunds

You have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which Vorigon extends to a 30-day returns window as a goodwill gesture. We charge no restocking fee. Refunds are issued within 14 days. The full process, including the model cancellation form, is set out in our Order Cancellation Policy and Refund & Return Policy.

9. Warranty and Faulty Goods

Products carry a manufacturer warranty of 12 to 24 months depending on category, with 6 months on batteries and chargers. What is and is not covered is set out in our Warranty & Replacement page. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply in addition to the warranty and are not affected by it.

10. Safe Use of Machinery

Garden machinery can cause serious injury if used incorrectly. You are responsible for reading the manual, assembling the product correctly, wearing appropriate protective equipment, and operating and maintaining the machine in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions. Please see our Assembly & Installation Policy. Vorigon is not liable for injury, loss or damage caused by misuse, incorrect assembly, removal of guards, or failure to follow the supplied instructions.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on Vorigon.com — text, layout, graphics, logos, photographs, product descriptions and code — is owned by Vorigon or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Any other use, including commercial reproduction or systematic copying, requires our written permission. Third-party brand names and logos remain the property of their owners.

12. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms, and we will tell you why.

13. Reviews and Submissions

Where you post a review, question or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and use it in connection with our business. You must not post unlawful, abusive, misleading or infringing content. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

14. Availability of the Site

We aim to keep the site available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the site for maintenance or business reasons, and we will give notice where reasonably possible. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only; we are not responsible for their content.

15. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the terms implied by the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, nor for business losses such as loss of profit, loss of contracts or loss of business opportunity, since our products are supplied for domestic and private use. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

16. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, industrial action, carrier failure, supply chain disruption, pandemic restrictions or acts of government. We will contact you with a revised date, and you may cancel for a full refund if the delay is substantial.

17. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If something has gone wrong, email info@vorigon.com with “Complaint” in the subject line. A manager responds within 3 business days and we aim to resolve every complaint within 14 days. You can also get free, impartial advice from Citizens Advice consumer service on 0808 223 1133.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published when you place an order governs that order. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

20. Governing Law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own country’s courts.
